Coudenberg Sound Box Fest
The Coudenberg Palace proudly presents: the Coudenberg Sound Box Fest (CSBF)! Curated by Italian flautist and doctor in music performance Matteo Gemolo, this is where music meets history. Artists from Brussels and beyond perform and enchant their audience in the one-of-a-kind archaeological site in the heart of Europe. This year, CSBF invites you to a new edition entitled ‘reConciliations: War & Peace’, featuring four double concerts, a unique co-production with Bozar and additional activities.

CSBF Next/Gen
Ever since its very first edition, the Coudenberg Sound Box Fest (CSBF) has embraced the idea of bringing together an internationally renowned ensemble and a young, up-and-coming group for a single evening of concert performances. Building on this principle, we launched Next/Gen 2025, a new competition aimed at discovering and supporting the next generation of ensembles specialising in early (and other) music. Following this enthusiastic response, Next/Gen was relaunched in 2026. The winner of this first edition in 2025, Ensemble Matica de Flor, will be performing this year alongside the French Trio Satellite.
