Ommegang: departure of Charles V’s carriage from Coudenberg Palace

Dear to the hearts of the people of Brussels, the Ommegang is a moment of celebration that takes place in the magnificent settings of the Grand-Place and the Sablon area. The procession, whose origins go back to the 14th century, will pass by Coudenberg Palace with the departure of Charles V's carriage at around 8pm on 1 & 3 July.
