Accessibility

For visitors with reduced mobility

The archaeological site is underground and can be reached by two lifts accessible to wheelchair users. The ground is uneven in places and can therefore be difficult to drive on (cobblestones, old floor tiles ...). We therefore recommend coming accompanied if possible.

Only part of the archaeological site is accessible to wheelchair users. In particular, the Aula Magna and the upper part of rue Isabelle are not accessible. We do offer a free virtual visit of some of these areas, should you not be able to visit them on site.

A free audio guide is available and can be consulted via mobile phone both on site and from home.

The museum area is currently closed and not accessible to visitors. More information can be found on this map.

A WC for wheelchair users is located on level -1 of the BELvue museum, in the corridor next to the turnstiles giving access to the Coudenberg Palace.

The archaeological site is not accessible to scooters.

An adapted rate for visitors with reduced mobility is provided at €5 per person. Their accompanying person benefits from a free admission.

To make your visit as pleasant as possible, we ask you to book at least 3 days in advance via 02 500 45 54 or info@belvue.be. In addition, we recommend coming during the week. If you do wish to come at the weekend, waiting times may increase.
