COUDENBERG SOUND BOX FEST 2026
ReConciliations: War & Peace
Sunday 13th of December 18:30. Elias Bachoura + BeraadGeslagen
Fault Lines Across East and West - World Music, Electro & Impro
Elias Bachoura - oud
Elias Bachoura presents his solo project Biharayto, eight original compositions in which he connects East and West in all their complexity. Rooted in the Damascus oud tradition and informed by his classical composition training in Brussels, the Belgo-Syrian virtuoso weaves a profoundly introspective sonic landscape that reflects on displacement, identity, and renewal, ultimately uniting two musical worlds into a single, emotionally resonant voice.
BeraadGeslagen
Fulco Ottervanger - keyboards | Lander Gyselinck - drums
BeraadGeslagen is back! Fulco Ottervanger and Lander Gyselinck return with an experimental concert and improvisation session that allows the audience to witness the live creation of their upcoming album. Following their acclaimed debut “Duizeldorp”—featuring the cult classic "Isabellade"—the duo once again defies the laws of gravity on their follow-up, “Altijd Bewust Bewegen”. They explore movement culture, ranging from the gym to the racetrack, creating a playful and dynamic soundscape filled with breaststrokes, backhands, and sweatbands.
