Our Landscape, our Legacy
The 38th edition of the Heritage Days invites you to rediscover our region’s tangible and intangible heritage and to step inside remarkable sites that are rarely open to the public! This year, we are celebrating “Our Landscape, Our Legacy” as part of Urban’s annual theme, centred on “urban landscapes”.
Coordinated by Urban, the Heritage Days invite you to explore Brussels through its landscapes: built, natural, social, everyday landscapes, as well as its icons and panoramic views. The aim is to reflect on how architecture, public spaces, infrastructure, residents and everyday uses shape our perception of the city and how these landscapes evolve over time.
Activity Coudenberg: Tracing back the Rue Isabelle
The remains of Rue Isabelle are revealed during this (partly) underground walk. Head underground and discover the city of yesteryear. A fascinating tour that will take you from the Place Royale to the Centre for Fine Arts (Bozar).
The full programme will be available on the website https://heritagedays.urban.brussels/ in early September.
This event is organised by the Brussels Capital Region as part of the European Heritage Days, an initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
