Webinar 1: State of play in Quebec-Wallonia-Brussels.

Activity

At a time when digital tools are increasingly being used by museums to showcase their lost heritage and make their content accessible, how can we avoid the pitfalls that other museums have faced when creating digital tools? How can digital creation be initiated within a limited budget? Is it possible to design a sustainable digital tool? What is the digital landscape for education, heritage and tourism? How can existing digital tools be optimised and updated?

The Coudenberg Palace and l’Îlot des Palais  are inviting the museum and heritage communities to reflect on these questions during two seminars and a series of three webinars. This series of exchanges is part of a partnership between the Ministère des relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec and Wallonie-Bruxelles International.

Given this partnership, events will only be held in French.

Programme

  • Webinars: discover the many aspects to consider when developing a digital project thanks to expert panels.
  • Seminar and Experimentation Days: take part in practical sessions in the field to assess the added value and limitations of digital systems.
